Thank you for sharing your results with Algoma Public Health. The water results taken September 2008 of Total Coliforms and E. coli indicate very good water quality. This captures the levels of TC and EC at that particular moment in time.

The Donations/Projects Committee chaired by Nancy Harz, with board member Janet Servatius as liaison, is on task with much interest being shown by Blind River. Deputy Mayor Sue Jensen is receptive to ideas and looking forward to a spring meeting with Committee members. Library Director Rhea Marcellus was also excited about our interest especially to keep computers operational.
At the 2008 Annual General Meeting, members authorized the board to donate up to $2000 to local causes. As a result, Jerry Behnke presented Blind River Librarian Rhea Marcellus with $400, to be used for maintenance of the public computer terminals.
Many cottagers use the library and its computer and internet connection. Since we are all taxpayers to the town of Blind River, we can receive library cards free of charge.
